I’ve been Arthur Adam for ten years this year. To celebrate my ten-year existence as Arthur Adam I will re-release my “album zero” Shhh.
It’s a quiet conceptual mini-album, 8 songs and a bonus track. At the time, in 2006, I made the record, didn’t know what to do with it, so I made a bunch of copies, printed a few sleeves and sold it at gigs. I never counted it as an actual album, more like an EP or demo, but there is a lot of love and effort in it, and a bunch of songs that I’m still really proud of. The album’s sold out now, but I still have the music, and there are the brilliant possibilities of the internet, so Shhh will appear on your spotify, iTunes, Tidal and the lot on May 1st.
